Adelie Land traverse
Antarctic Photos by Mike Savage

In December 1982 I participated in an over-snow tractor traverse with the French national program.  We travelled for 40 days, covering 500 kilometers, and I installed four Automatic Weather Stations along the route, which went upslope from Dumont d'Urville Station.
