We spent the week from Christmas to New Year's Eve on the
Big Island of Hawaii. Highlights included a visit to the Volcano National Park & some hiking in and around a vast caldera.
We stayed until it was dark so that we could see the glowing lava as it oozed down the hillside. Other highlights were the
great snowkeling, boogie boarding in the waves and a hike to the Captain Cook Memorial. The weather was near-perfect
all week. A great trip !
